Monrovia Festival & Community Association
began as the Monrovia Festival Committee in 1984. It was founded to celebrate the Sesquicentennial, the 150th Birthday of Monrovia Indiana.
40 years later, the Monrovia Festival & Community Association continues the tradition of celebrating Monrovia by putting on the annual Monrovia Festival.
The committee has added many other community-minded activities to enhance the lives of the people of Monrovia.

- 2 Yearly $1000 Scholarships for High School Graduates to further their education in a post-secondary school
- Sponsor 10 local children during Christmas
- A Monrovia Hometown Christmas
- Host Euchre Night- 3rd Saturday of each month, Wizard 2nd & Last Friday/ Month
- Food Truck Thursdays
- Community Halloween Party
- Building Rentals for Monrovia and surrounding areas
- Donated $ to our local Fire Department
- Donated $ to our local Police Department
- Donated $ for Historical Markers around town
- Donate Community Building for bereavement dinners
- Donate to local families in time of need
- Donate the parking lot uptown for the use of the public
- Donate use of building to Girl Scouts and 4-H Clubs & Religious Education
